DMCA Policy

DFP responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512.

Filing a DMCA notice

Send written notice to [email protected] with all of the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (URL or detailed description).
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail for us to locate it (a direct DFP URL).
4. Your contact information — address, phone, email.
5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner.
6. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe the takedown was a mistake, you may submit a counter-notice to the same address with identification, your contact info, and a statement under penalty of perjury.

Repeat infringers

Accounts that receive multiple valid DMCA notices will be terminated.
